It is also closest to the other areas of northern Queen Elizabeth National Park, including the Mweya Peninsula and the Kazinga Channel; well known for launch cruises, close range game-viewing as well as bird-viewing. There is also an opportunity to go for guided chimpanzees tracking in Kyambura Gorge.

Lacam Lodge is situated at Sipi,on the slopes of Mount Elgon, around 4 and a half hours drive from Kampala, and 45 minutes drive from Mbale.By Car – From Kampala Drive to Mbale. Once in Mbale take the Soroti Road and after about 5 minutes drive turn right towards Kapchorwa (there is a signpost). Follow the tarmac road past Sironko. After 30 minutes from Mbale the tarmac road veers to the right and starts climbing about 15 minutes later you reach Sipi Trading Centre.
