20 Days: Culture, Historical And Heritage Sites
Day 1: Visiting Kabaka’s Palace,Mounuments and Uganda Museum
Start this amazing day with an early morning breakfast ,after breakfast our guide driver will pick you up from the hotel to visit cultural sites in Kampala such as king’s palace, the Kings lake which is the only man-made lake, the Parliament of the king in central kingdom, Visit the monuments that hold Uganda’s cultural and political historical attachment.
Then have lunch and later go visit the national museum which gives detailed information about Uganda and it’s culture from the stone age period up to the present day. With the great experience for the day you will be driven back to the Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2; Visiting the Wamala Tombs and Coronation site
On this day, start this amazing day with an early morning breakfast then later leave to visit the famous Wamala tombs for the late central king who had very many wives.
After proceed to Nagalabi coronation site where the where the Kings of Buganda (a kingdom in Uganda ) are crowned from for the past 700 years.
Then head for lunch and later in the evening head to Ndere Cultural center where you will enjoy lots of entertainment including traditional cultural dances and Dine there.
Back to your lodge and spend an overnight.

Day 3; Visiting Namugongo Shrines, Sezibwa Falls and later drive to Jinja
Begin this beautiful day with an early breakfast and head to Uganda martyrs Shrines in Namugongo where horribly the martyrs were murdered.
From there you will head to Sezibwa falls to see a cultural site related to Buganda kingdom and about the traditional healing in Buganda.
Then head to Jinja where you will explore the longest River in the whole of Africa and it’s okay this River where It’s believed Jesus floated. In addition you will see the source of the River Nile, the exact point where it starts from it’s long journey across Africa.

Day 4;Imbalu Cultural Ceremony (Male Circumcision)
Start this beautiful day with a warm and delicious breakfast, thereafter breakfast drive to Mbale and attend the male circumcision ceremony. It’s a cultural practice that is unique in Gisu tribe that dictates that all young men below age of 18 years have to undergo circumcision. This is a day of feasting , merry making , dancing and showcasing. This is done every even year and the timing of the period should be looked at critically.
This is an experience you don’t want to miss while in Uganda.

Day 5; Visit Sipi Falls.
On this day start with a warm and delicious breakfast and head tothis fascinating sippi Falls on the the slopes of Mt Elgon. These are among the most magnificent water falls in Uganda after the Powerful Murchison Falls. The scenery of these waterfalls is simply breath taking.
The peace and calm that revolves this part of Uganda with less crowded tourists giving a chance to private experience. Later walk down to footsteps of the falls and enjoy the experience of coffee making.
After this fabulous experience you will be driven back to the Lodge dinner and spend and over night

Day 6; Drive to Kidepo in the northern part of Uganda.
Start the day with an early and warm morning breakfast,then setoff for this quite somewhat long journey but interesting. This are is more flat with dry arid woodland kind of vegetation and some rugged hilly mountains. The natives here are mostly Karamanjos and the Ik’s this is the smallest tribe in Uganda who basically live the Homesteads that are grass thatched locally called the Manyattas both the Girls and Boys build their own Manyatta when at adolescent stage and they leave their parents and the very young ones in the main house. You will later be driven to the lodge for overnight and dinner

Day 7;Whole day visiting Communities with different cultural showcases
Begin with a cup of coffee of tea,the tour starts in the morning for a scenic ,cultural and walk through the valley of Mt. Moroto. The highest mountain of the Karamoja (a region in Northern Uganda )
The mountain is inhabited by one of Uganda’s smallest tribe the “Tepeth”
They are the indigenous inhabitants of Karamoja planes that escaped into the mountains.
Immerse yourself in their culture. Participating in daily activities like preparing staple food, harvesting, beading, dance how to shoot using an arrow and act bow.
A friendly wrestling. And later drive back for dinner and overnight

Day 8; Community Visit for the Herd’smen
Begin the beautiful day with a beautiful Experience a typical night with the warriors (herders) by spending a night with the animals and shepherds in and kraal.
Help bringing the cows to the kraal, share stories around campfire, play games with the Warriors and learn all about nomadic life. Later have dinner and spend an over night

Day: 9; Transfer to Murchsion Falls National park.
Begin this wonderful day with a fantastic breakfast and set off for yet this Uganda’s largest and most visited National park which is famous because of its powerful and wonderful waterfalls. Depending on how energetic you will.
There is a possibility of doing an evening game drive and sight seeing

Day 10; Early Morning Game drive
Early breakfast on this day then a morning game drive to search for some of the big five of Uganda.
While on a game drives expect to see Giraffes, a number of different species of Antelopes, Elephants and amazing views of White Nile. You will later retire for lunch as you prepare for the afternoon activity.
In the afternoon get ready for another awesome experience the boat cruise on the Nile.
Here you get a chance to see numerous animals coming to quench their thirst these include both Land Mammals and aquatic life together with various bird life. This will be for 2 hours and don’t miss viewing most vigorous falls as they fight to escape through a narrow cliff. You can even hike to the top of the falls. After this wonderful experience you will be driven back to the lodge for dinner and spend and overnight

Day 11, Transfer to Hoima for the salt lake and the hot springs
START thhis amazing day with a warm breakfast and leave for Hoima where you will be able to visit Kibiro salt Gardens and hot springs
The ancient kibiro salt Gardens are cultural and historical.
Where the first western visitor Emin Pasha who ventured down the Albertine Rift Valley to see the gardens and the village.
For hundreds of years, the salt gardens have provided the Bunyoro kingdom and way beyond with salt as they still do today.
Even as you approach you may see some salt sellers on the road selling salt.
The area has even become the archeological site where beads used in barter hundreds are found.
There are also stories that hotsprings have healing qualities to the water if you try to dip in.
Visit Mparo Tombs
It is the burial site for the great king Omukama Kabalega and was a palace of one of the greatest kings of Bunyoro Kitara (a kingdom in Uganda) who expanded its reach to most of the Great Lakes. Now it’s where he and his descendants are buried and a site that many still go to pay homage. After this amazing experience you will be driven to the lodge for dinner and spend an overnight

Day 12; Transfer to Fort portal town
Start this amazing and wonderful day with a cup of coffee or tea and later set off to this famous and well known as the cleanness town in Uganda with the kingdom that has the youngest King compared to other Kingdoms. This kingdom and most known for having its town in English and a case that it’s not with any other towns or kingdom.
Today after breakfast visit “Amabere ga Nyinamwiru” (translated as breasts of Nyinamwiru ) which is a cultural site and there you will learn about history of this wonderful site and geographical part of it.
Then later after lunch go for a community walk or do cycling within Fort portal town. Later drive to the lodge for dinner and spend an overnight.

Day 13; Visit the Royal Palace of Toro Kingdom
Visit the Royal palace for this kingdom and actually the kingdom with youngest king who sat on a throne while he was less than 10years old
Visit Karambi tombs after the Royal palace this the a burial ground for the Abakama (Tooro kings). You later relax as you wait for dinner and spend a night at the lodge.

Day 14; Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park
After an early breakfast drive to Kibale National Park to track one of the most attractive primates that are close to human beings the chimpanzees. Arm After this you will have your Warm Lunch and later set off for Queen Elizabeth National park, the second largest National Park in Uganda with various wildlife. Bio-sphere reserve, this is where animals are living together with humans harmonious, it has over Eleven fishing Villages and you will have chance to visit one community . And later you will be driven back to the lodge for dinner and spend a night.

Day 15; Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Do an early game drive where you will be able to see varieties of antelopes and some wild cats if chances allow like Lions. You will later have a bush breakfast as you listen to the whispers of the wild, Later drive to Mweya Pennisular one of the villages also found in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Do an afternoon Boat Cruise along Kazinga channel. A water body that joinS the 2 lakes that’s Lake Gorge and Edward. this is the most magnifient activity with a variety of wildlife
You will have a view of Hippo, Elephants, Buffaloes ,Crocodiles all coming to quench their afternoon thirst.
And a fishing village bordering the channel. You will later drive back to the lodge for overnight and dinner.

Day 16; Transfer to Bwindi national park.
Begin with early Breakfast, then drive through Ishasha another sector of Queen Elizabeth national park which is known to be famous for the tree climbing Lions. Have amazing views of acacias and the tropical rain forest that is also found within the park.
Do a game drive enroute to Bwindi and look out for tree climbing lions.
Arrive at the hotel in the afternoon and do the Batwa Experience
These were the people who were chased out of the Bwindi impenetrable forest to conserve the forest and now they live on the boundaries of the forest.
They are very short and have the unique way of living like staying in tree houses.
It’s such an amazing experience
Get a chance to show you how they dance live and survived with the gorillas in the forest. After this experience you will be driven back to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 17; Gorilla Tracking
One of the most waited experience and highlights of the trip ,the Gorilla Tracking. It’s a hike to the impenetrable forest and it’s an experience of its own.
Depending how far the gorillas will be after the tracking visit the locals and see coffee making process and local brew making you will be asked to taste and also participate in some activities. After this fabulous and memorable experience drive back to the lodge for dinner and spend a night.

Day 18 ;Drive to Nshenyi Cultural Village
After an early morning breakfast drive to Nshenyi cultural village where late in the evening you will participate in milking of the cows, peeling and cooking bananas.Have the great stories and legends of how the traditional Ankole people behaves .how the two groups of the Bahima and Bairu lived together and depended on one another. Later walk to the lodge for caddle dinner and have a comfortable night.

Day 19 ; Visit Igongo Cultural Center
Drive to mbarara and visit Igongo cultural center.

Day 20; Morning Walk and drive back to Entebbe
Start the beautiful day wit an early morning breakfast and then leave for a morning nature walk while you view animals on foot for 2 hours then head to Entebbe. Enroute we can do pictures at the equator and you can buy souvenirs.
Then head to airport and catch a flight back home. Accommodation for tonight is not inclusive in the program. If you wish to depart tonight from Entebbe Airport, make sure your flight is at 10 pm or later. If you would like us to book one (or more) nights in Kampala or Entebbe, please let us know.
